Pine tar is not a pretty smelling soap. It has a smell that is similar to... well, an asphalt factory. However, we are not selling a pretty soap with this bar. Our Pine Tar soap contains pine tar which is said to have antibacterial and anti-fungal qualities. Pine tar is said to help soothe and treat symptoms of poison ivy, oak, and sumac. Pine tar is also said to be useful to treat skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis; it relieves the itching caused by bug bites.

However, we have included all of our skin-loving oils in this soap including olive oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, shea butter, and castor oil which create an amazing bar of soap.

Our Pine Tar is also great for stripping your hair (or beard) of all of the product that tends to build up over time. We recommend that you condition your hair or beard after using our Pine Tar soap and do not recommend using Pine Tar soap daily on your hair or beard. Once a week is often enough for this wonderful soap.
